Kabul Kitchen

We'll do the food for your function

We did the food for about 200 people when the mosque had its opening. Took three days.

That's the job we point at when somebody asks whether we can feed a room.

What we'd cook

Mantu, kabuli pulao, the charcoal kebabs. The same food we put in front of people in the restaurant, cooked by the same people, on the same charcoal.

We have never once put a dish on the menu we would not eat ourselves, and a function doesn't change that.

How to sort it

Ring us. Tell us how many people, what day, and where it is, and we'll talk it through on the phone.

There's no form on this page on purpose. It's quicker to ring, and we'd rather hear what you actually need than read it off a dropdown.

Who rings us

Community occasions, mostly. The mosque opening is the one people ask us about, and it's the reason they ring: somebody has a room to feed and wants to know we've done it before.

Families with something on ring us too. So do the people who've already sat at one of our big weekend tables and worked out we can handle a crowd. One of them left this on our Google listing:

"Booked for 12 people and they could not have been more accommodating."

Twelve is a table. Two hundred is three days' work. Tell us which end of that you're at and we'll be straight with you about it.
